In a short, just a matter of hours, the first presidential candidate debate will be held. Some say that this debate is just like others that have been done before. The other say that this debate is something that eagerly awaited because in the end each candidate will submit their idea and compete each other. This is because of finally the end of the drama reaches its culmination point. The identity battle will increasingly fade into program battle. Hopefully this debate will help swing voter or undecided one’s that reach up until 28 percent (based on R&D Kompas: https://video.kompas.com/watch/1088365/survei-litbang-kompas-undecided-voters-capai-287-persen) to provide additional information to find their ideal potential leader.

This article does not intend to lead a discussion of figure and their ideas as a weapons brand to gain sympathy and votes. This is about how everyone ultimately must sell themselves and convince people of what they are selling. You can find and learn about Maslow hierarchical theory of need, just like I have ever mention in some of my articles before. After we successfully fulfil each level theory of need, the top of the pyramid is the actualization need. This is a situation where most of us relevant and even become mutual agreement that this is the pinnacle of human life’s mission in the world. Actualizations refer to an instrument to achieve human golden goals: mate, wealth, and power. Maybe it's too harsh and subjected indeed, but this only to simplify various types of desires and dreams that we try to identify. Holding all the three doesn’t guarantee that everyone’s dream will stop. There will be potential for further dreams and hopes, and that’s how humans are.

Back to the business, so why people should sell their selves? At my point of view, any activities that refer to an effort to achieve these goals involve the ability to convince others, a skill to sell our personal best. Selling a product isn’t an easy task, selling our personal best is another level. One of te reason is, every day there are more competitors around us. The emergence of competitors could hamper, causing us to have to set strategies to be different and being noticed among others. The ability to sell equipped with the negotiation skill become a way to reach the best deal. This requires us to hone a skill to building and having good communication, creative thinking, collaboration opportunities, discipline, courage and self-confidence test, and guide us to prepare our future carrier path. Another part that we should develop are the willingness to hear other, having empathy, critical thinking, adaptable, credible, on time and keeping promises.

Finally, we must continuously hone this skill by asking feedback from other, taking any possible training and practicing mirror. they say that the best plan is the one that acted not those that imagined. How can we know our abilities and weaknesses if we have never tried before. Find your improvement space even it just a simply and tiny ones, it means a lot somehow.
