Ouch crap! my IG being hacked. I can neither use my password or get help to recover it. Have you ever in that moment? Bad things happen all the time, without any excuse. With the advancement of technologies, particularly in social media, it just like open your vulnerability upon the digital era.

People nowadays, rely of having information on their cell phone, especially in social media. Of any information, even though just to know what happen with your relatives, where are they and what they do. That little thing. As myself, my cells armed with my bank apps, investment app, notes, social media and so on. This habit seems to be common for everyone. We always want everything to be instant, fast and practical within the complex life and fleeting time.

Back in the past, everything was available traditionally, conventionally, and manually. The main reason on why hackers hijacking and or breaching our account is to make transaction to get our account back, those involving not so little money. The amount of money hackers demand depends on the values of the account they controlled. On average, hackers asking price between 100$ up until 10 million$ or more, depend on how powerful the account. This just an estimation, the actual amount could be lower or higher. There are several warnings on how to handle hacking. The most important is don’t ever try to pay hacker to get your account. Doing so it is estimated that they’ll do the same thing by the next day. Instead, we may use the basic functional on any apps, which is the report feature then follow the instructions given.

There are several methods to prevent hacking or any other security breaching on your account. The simple one is to make sure our gadget where our account is relying on protected with strong and updated security. Second one is careful on where and what we are surf on internet, especially be careful with the links and or attachment that provided. Better not click if you are not sure, only download from the trusted source. Last, the simply but hard to do is changing our password regularly. Well, anyone even a random person can be attack by security breacher just like hacker. But doesn’t mean it is like a statement as a cool incident to be proud of. Beware, pickpocketing is now evolving into a digital thuggery. Always alert and don’t be easily believe in grey situation. Digital era also means as digital crime.
